As a dragon, Sherry is in perfect health. He does seem to wear glasses when doing research but since he doesn't need them to read, they seem to be for helping him to see certain magical qualities. Also as a dragon, Sherry is technically intersex and can choose to take either male or female form. However, he's chosen to be exclusively male.

Our initial impression of Sherry is an unfair one; he seems violent, rude, short-tempered, and overly protective. Certainly, under the right conditions, he's all of these things. His protective instincts are strongest around Cliff, a human that he's had to nurse back to mental and physical health after he became a human experiment. The man who receives his wrath is an innocent man, but one that is a member of the same group that hurt his friend. With limited knowledge and a worrisome assumption, we first see Sherry at his worst.

After, we do begin to see Sherry as he normally is. It's true that he remains protective, and this is something that will likely span to anyone who actually manages to make an impression. While it seems to be overbearing at first, and likely is, it's also understandable once we learn more about the target of his protection: a man that's not only prone to accidents, ignores his own comfort, takes dangerous risks, but also a man that seems to be cursed and was one used as an experiment by the same humans he trusted.

Dragons, by nature, are territorial and thus, they don't create bonds very easily. As a hatchling, he was regarded as precious but wasn't shown love in the way a human would receive, and sees his parents as guardians more than family. Thus, more than the heat we see when he interacts with certain people, Sherry is normally seen as cold and distant. He is quick to insult and has few friends. We're told that in spite of being very popular among people of his age, he hasn't had a date in 500 years. This is also seen in the way he normally uses nicknames for people since as Black Fluff and Furball. Ironically, in spite of being known as distant, Sherry seems to touch others easily even if it's not the friendliest of touches.

However, he isn't as uncaring as he would like to believe. We see many instances in which he puts in time and effort for someone else without wanting acknowledgment. When Sa-il was brought to him for help, Sherry not only complied but took him under his wing and adopted him, in theory, as a little brother. Later, when they fight and Sa-il accidentally breaks a table, Sherry protects the elf while getting slashed with a piece of debris himself. When Cliff first asks for his help, he claims curiosity was his reasoning but then did help not only in large ways but in small ways as well Likewise, when Cliff came to him for help after escaping those who hurt him, Sherry not only provides him shelter, he meticulously helps him adjust to society. As dragons normally hate humans or ignore them at best, this means Sherry goes against the very nature of his kind.

This isn't to say he doesn't have a temper. Ed, for example, continues to get small tastes of this even after he's accepted into their fold. The main target is Sa-il, the elf that he once thought of as a brother and is now someone who's interested in being with him romantically. Since he continues to flirt with Sherry and attempts to connect with him as a lover, he's often received with a rude reply or a slap. James, Ed's predecessor, also remembers Sherry's anger.

More fitting of a dragon, Sherry is very prideful. In fact, his pride is one of the reasons he often hides his kindness. It's easier for him to remain distant than admit he cares for someone. It's also difficult for him to admit when he needs or wants something from someone on an intimate level. For example, Sherry has always longed for a family and eventually manages to admit to Sa-il that he sees him as a younger brother... decades after they meet and with no small amount of shame. When asked earlier what his childhood was like, Sherry chose a short answer instead of admitting to his loneliness. When Sa-il argues that he sees Sherry in a more romantic way, the dragon is unable to explain why the familiar bond was so important to him.

He's also very aware that he's both beautiful and powerful.

Sherry's also very intelligent and his hobby, when not devouring large portions of food, seems to be work. He's capable of creating advanced magical items, items that not even an Elder Dragon was able to create. Much of his time is spent researching and learning about new magical techniques, which is why he's considered an expert in the field. Even when he's relaxing, he can be seen reading though it is fiction.

At 6', Sherry is tall as a human. His frame is slender and elegant, befitting of his nature. With very long, wavy blue hair and jewel-like eyes (their words), he's a striking figure. Though he can take human form, his slitted eyes and pointy ears will give him away unless he's actively hiding them.

Sherry dresses elegantly and wears clothing very different than what a human in their world would choose. Sometimes, he'll also wear simple adornments like rings or clasps.

ABILITY

Healing

Dragons can manipulate mana which allows them to heal. Minor wounds are done easily and with no scars. However, more serious wounds may either be impossible, take longer, will leave a scar, or will still leave the injured disabled.

Polymorphing

This is the ability in which Sherry uses to take human form. He can disguise his ears and eyes if he takes additional steps, but his coloring will always be the same.

Elemental magic

Sherry can manipulate water and, as an extension, ice.

Teleportation

Dragons are capable of creating teleportation circles which allows them to travel between locations instantly.

Magical Items

Sherry is known for being a specialist in the field of advanced magical research. He's capable of creating impressive magical items like a ring that hides the bearer's identity, or an eyepatch that blocks out the most powerful of energy.

Being a dragon

This comes with perks such as a much longer lifespan, enhanced strength, being difficult to kill, etc.

Mana

In their world, mana is the very energy of life. This could mean nothing in meme land, but it could mean Sherry would recognize curses, illnesses, a supernatural presence, etc, if you'd like.
